Thank you everyone who has sent in their grandparent pictures and surveys. The pictures were due today and some students didn't have them. Please email them to me ASAP, we used them in class today and will be using them again tomorrow.
This week we;
-had our last session with the courtyard artist Rebecca
-worked on a problem of the day
-did an experiment on smelling, we had to identify 10 different smells
-shared about who our grandparents are and special things about them
-did a procedural writing on "How to Make a Grilled Cheese"
-made and ate grilled cheese sandwhiches
-celebrated MaKenna's 8th birthday with timbits
-learned about the new recycling bins in our school
Question of the day:
What are some of the steps to making a grilled cheese?
Step 1) wash your hands
ReplyDeleteStep 2) get some soft bread
Step 3) put some gunky butter on the smooth bread
Step 4) lay the sliced cheese on the shiny buttered bread
Step 5) take it to the oven and put a pan underneath and start the stove
Step 6) flip it over when the bread is golden
Step 7) wait til the other side is golden, let it cool down for about one minute
Step 8) eat it!

3. Get 2 slices of bread and put butter on them
4. Put the buttered sides to the outside
5. Put cheese on the non buttered side
6. Put the other piece of bread on top
7. put it on the pan
8. when cooked flip it over
9. let it cook on the other side
10. take it out of the pan
11. EAT IT!
