Thank you everyone for sending in your grandparent artifacts, what an incredible collection of history we have. Most of the artifacts are being displayed (and locked) in the schools front display case.
Today we completed our Earth Day writing. We watched a quick video of a sea turtle with a straw stuck up it's nostril. It was sad but the sea turtle ended up being ok. We've learned that many restaurants and even some countries in the world are banning plastic straws.
Some of us have completed our grandparent writing and it is now hanging up in the hallway. Take a peek whenever you have a chance.
We took advantage during Math today and worked outside in the courtyard. Students were coming up with weather appropriate activities for each month of the year and trying to recall major holidays for each month.
Mrs.Sorensen has been busy preparing us for the Bugz Musical. Today we had a regular Music class plus and extra 15 minute practice.
****Running Club info came home today for anyone interested in running in the running club.
Question of the day- Can you name an activity for each month of the year? Can you list the months in the correct order?
