Math Fair Games and Bongo Painting

Firstly, I would like to say "welcome home" Caleb.  He was been visiting numerous countries in Africa for the past month,  we can't wait to hear about his adventures.  Each child came home with a bracelet today. It was from Caleb's African travels and was made by the Maasai people.

As we get closer to our Math Fair the students are beginning to master some of the problem solving games that they have learned.  Below are many pictures of the students playing Math games.  We have learned;
-Janus upside down
-Froggie Catcher
-The Grass is Greener on the Other Side
-Wolf Nim
-Touching circles
-Sudoku

I've also included pictures of the students each taking a turn to help paint our Mountain Bongo.  It is really starting to look like the real deal!
