Question of the day:

Why do people where a poppy on their chest?  Where did the poppy come from?

  1. People were a poppy on there chests to oner those who have fought in the war and died.

    Poppy's came from a field called Flanders Field. They honoured the people who died and fought in the war and who made our country safe, and who are no longer with us. These people also risked their lives to have a safe country.From Lily

  2. The poppy came from world war 1 and they grow wildly. They are still growing today.

    We wear them on our chest to support the soldiers who fought in the war and the ones who died to give us peace.

  4. Three things. Why we wear a poppy. 1. To remember the soldiers who fought because in world war 1 poppies were wildly growing beside the crosses of the dead soldiers. 2. I honestly forget where poppies come from but i think it was from somewhere in Scotland. 3. What is the spelling word "sp"?
