Good evening families,
Today Miss. Raymond taught her first LA, Health lesson using the "How to Fill a Bucket Book". Student were asked of ways to fill their Mom or Dads buckets. YOU were chosen as the person to write for because your children love you and find it easy to think up ways to fill your buckets.
In Math we looked at the number 29 and tried representing many different ways. We; spelled it, found it, wrote it in a sentence and built it using tallies, pictures, coins, and 10 frame blocks.
We learned how to separate the color black into the colors that make black. We were able to do this using a Mr.Sketch and a coffee filter.
Remembrance Day is quickly approaching, today we read 1 1/2 non-fiction books and completed some Poppy Art Work.
Questions of the day;
Tell me something about the story "Angel Girl" and what colors are used to make up the color black.

All of the colours are used to make black.

He was taken from his mother. His mother was in his dreams. His mother said " that and angel will come to save you". the next day an angle girl came. She threw an apple over the fence every day. So that the boy could stay alive. After WWII he had to go to a new home and then he met his angel girl again. They were married!
ReplyDeleteAngel Girl threw an apple over the fence to risk her life to save his life for the war. Then many years later they left to New York and the boy's friends had a double date and it was a true story and the double date, his friends said that he'll really like her and the odds of this is half a quarter but Angel Girl and the boy were one of the double dates and they were there together. Black is made out of all the bright colours in the world except for colourless.

ReplyDeleteA boy was forced to fight in a war. A lot of men starved to death, but the boy didn't starve because everyday a girl passed an apple over the fence to the boy. The boy called the girl an angel girl.
All colours combined make black, but mostly blue.

To make the colour black you need red purple violet blue. The angel girl is a true story about a girl giving food to one boy across a fence during the war because he was hungry and had no food.
