Happy Halloween!

I'll keep this short!  Happy Halloween and thank you to every single one of you for remembering your pumpkins, snacks, costumes and all of your support.  Our class had a great day filled with Halloween celebrations beginning with grade 4/5 buddy time first thing this morning.  We did complete a pre-spelling test to assess what our knowledge of high frequency words from the Dolch word list.  This test is not used towards report card marks but is used to help drive instruction.

What is one way you can fill a persons bucket?  This could be a friend, stranger or family member.

  1. You can fill someones bucket by doing something nice for the. Some examples are make breakfast and bring it to your mom in bed, play hockey with your dad and pass him the puck, hug your brothers and tell them you love them. Parker

  2. One way you can fill a person's bucket is to give them a big hug and you can also hold some won's hand,another way is to help out each other out when they are struggling. From Lily

  5. One way to fill a person's bucket is to ask them if anybody is playing with you and if they say no, you can tell them to play with you and tell them how to play the game. Another way to fill someone's bucket is to help them if they don't know what to do you can tell them what you can do and not be a bucket dipper! If someone forgets their snack when the bell rings you can run downstairs as fast as you can and tell them that you forgot your snack and I found it for you! From Blu
