Great Math Website, our class LOVES it!


Today we;
-worked on "I see, I think, I wonder"
-began a character sketch of witches from the book "Witches".   We also watched the trailer to get more ideas.
-answered questions from the Math site below
-worked on double digit addition, expanding numbers, counting both forwards and backwards by 10
-worked on our Social Studies culmination project
-went to gym
-went to the Library
-2/3 of the class now have their community building interviews on IRIS. You can view this by
1)going to the CBE home page
2)clicking on "quicklinks" near the top left
3)logging in (all of our class knows how to do this)

Question of the day:  How does the Grand High Witch plan on getting rid of all of the children in "Inkland"?  Blog back and let me know if you tried the Math site.

    The Grand High Witch wants to take over the WORLD!!... except for parents. By the way, Inkland is England... the witches just don’t talk right. The witches are going to give the boss of a candy shop 400 fake bucks because they want to get the job and put poison on the chocolate and the candy and then at 9:00 when the kids go to school they will start shrinking and growing a tail and growing fur and turn into a tiny little mouse. The teachers will get mouse traps and kill their students. Also, one of the witches disappeared. Back to teachers, teachers will run as fast as they can and get a mouse trap and the student mice will eat the tiny cheese and then they will get trapped and die, according to the witches plan... but it will probably not happen. Phew! Kids are adorable! Why would those nasty witches want to kill them anyways?!?! Also, why would they want to kill the best goalie on the PLANET!!

    Yes, I visited the math site. Also it is addicting! I got an A+ and was the first Canadian to make the list... for that problem anyways!

    yes we did do the math site. It was great!
    The grand high witch wants to take all of the children out of inkland by giving them poisonous chocolates. at 9 o'clock they will tun into mice right as they arrive at school. The teachers will get traps and kill them.- Vivian
