Today we;
-had our first Monday assembly
-read chapter 2 from James and the Giant Peach
-got our home reading bags, recording sheet and books
-wrote our first "I see, I think, I wonder" entry
-created repeating patterns with 3 or more elements. We had to act the patterns out.
-reviewed what vowels, syllables and consonants are (remember that MOST syllables have a vowel in them). ie carpet it 2 syllables. The first is "car" the second is "pet" each syllable has a vowel.
-went to music
-played soccer in gym.
Reminders
-meet the teacher BBQ is Thursday night at 5:00pm
-Leadership Fair (where students sign up for their leadership jobs) is at the BBQ
-Friday NO SCHOOL (Parent Teacher interviews for those who need them or have booked them)
-Wednesday Sept. 27th field trip to Grow Calgary

They think they are beautiful! And Aunt Sponge said she's going to Hollywood and all the boys and girls will quit their jobs to take pictures of her, but really she's not very beautiful. -Blu
