Here is a list of dates to keep in mind.  Please remember that in order to volunteer in the school you need to have a current police background check on file with the office. If you're not sure please check with Mrs.Dann.

Upcoming Dates;

Wednesday Oct. 19^th  12:45pm – 1:45 pm (3 volunteers needed)– community walk to look at Century Homes in Mount Royal.

Week of Oct. 24^th – Our class MAY BE hosting grade 2 students from Mrs.Kami’s new school.  We will be taking them to see the Century homes we saw the week before.  This is all dependent on their schedule at 2School (downtown).  I will let parents know ASAP.  If we do go we will need 3 parents to accompany us.

Thursday Oct. 27 – all day.  Field trip to Heritage Park.  This will be run by Heritage Park Staff however we will need 4-5 parents to come with us.

NOTE *****  This is also a FUN LUNCH day.  We will NOT be at school for FUN LUNCH.

 Monday Oct. 31^st – Halloween parade with whole school (approximately 12:45pm).  3-4 parents needed after the parade to help out with Halloween centers and our class party.  We will also need party supplies (food, drinks, plates, etc).  More information to come.

Wednesday November 9^th – Walk to Central Memorial Park to see the Cenotaph.  We will be walking down with the grade 5s and will need 4-5 parents to accompany us.  We will choose a time closer to the date.  This off site activity will also be weather dependent. 

Thursday November 10^th – Remembrance Day ceremony in the gym, all parents welcome.  Approximately 10:30am (exact time TBD)

Wednesday November 16^th – For Pitas Sake presentation.  This will take place in class.  Students will be asked to bring in food items to make healthy pitas (supplied by Byblos Bakery).  More information to come.
